Always-erect iguana loses penis
Vets at a zoo in Brussels have chopped off the penis of an iguana called Mozart, so he can walk again after suffering with a permanent erection. Zoo officials decided on the operation after keepers called in experts when they saw the iguana was in some discomfort, and having trouble walking because of the permanent erection.
Remedies from cold water to introducing female iguanas into his enclosure all failed and it was decided that an operation was the only solution to the problem. Zoo staff said the animal was recovering well after the procedure. And the operation is unlikely to reduce Mozart's opportunities to reproduce.
A spokesman at the zoo, speaking with the casual, blasé manner of someone who hasn't just had their penis cut off, said: 'Male iguanas - including Mozart - have two penises, so this is unlikely to be a big problem for him.'

who's this? a little quiz...
taking things a bit too far, i'd say
irony...yes, again...
you wanna know the latest definition, see the following
TV van falls through ice while shooting ice-safety segment
After five hours of work, recovery efforts were called off Monday because the CBS 58 (WDJT) live van was stuck in a lot of mud.
Jim Konkol has been coming to the lake most of his life and was shocked to hear some one drove on the frozen canal. "They probably didn't know about it. It looks like a road but it's not," Konkol tells TMJ4’s Jonathan Vigliotti.
This mess happened while a photographer with 58 was covering a story on the dangers of thin ice. She didn't realize she was driving down an iced canal.
Police are keeping an eye on the area until efforts resume again Tuesday morning. Channel 58 representatives have also been on scene. They say they're just glad no one was hurt.

is F the new M?
i personally believe it still remains to be seen if the cachet of this forthcoming hi-po IS is attractive enough to attract the real drivers out there...
the RWD lexus IS-F was finally shown off early Jan 2007 about 2 months after some teaser photos were "leaked". however, in an attempt to make the IS look more garang (in queen's english "intimidating"), lexus has grafted a bodykit that looks very fast and the furious (read, "loud", "obnoxious") and not very keeping with the general lexus philosophy...in fact it looks like the boys from MTV's PIMP MY RIDE got a hold of it and went slightly bonkers...i don't like it...
additionally, there is no manual tranny options, just lexus’ 8-speed automatic transmission which will offer only manual shifting via paddle shifters...why can't they just use a bloody manual tranny which will be more no-nonsense and interactive???? yeesh...
the engine beating at the F's heart is an all-new 5.0 liter direct-injected normally aspirated V8 that is estimated to make 400+hp / 475+Nm...but these are only estimates for the moment as the car's not even come to production yet...
the (admittedly) sweeeeeet rims are 19″ made-for-lexus BBS japan wheels with 225/40R19x8 up at the pointy end and 255/35R19×9 at the arse...held nicely by a double wishbone in front and multi-links at the rear...
it's estimated that the F will slip in under the 5 second mark for the century sprint and to halt the rampaging vehicle, some bigass brakes (14.2 inches at the front and 13.6 inches at the rear, all cross-drilled for better heat dissipation clampped by 6-pots up front and 2 pots behind)...
but what i absolutely hate is the trying-too-hard-to-be-cool exhaust configuration...URGH!!!!!
more details to be available soon from lexus...

the one inch punch #2 - a longish documentary
A short documentary on the One Inch Punch. Interviews with Jeet Kune Do and Wing Chun instructors. Discover more on what Bruce Lee demonstrated years ago.
the one inch punch #1
Makoto Kabayama, one of only a handful of senior JKD instructors across the world under the Vunak/Inosanto line, demonstrating the one inch punch and its applications. Note that this is a demonstration and Makoto is visibly restraining his power output.

a logical upgrade, i suppose...
yep, most definitely...after almost 1 year's usage, am gonna sell my beloved SE K750i off and upgrade to its newer and more "powerful" big brother the SE K800i...the camera's an improvement in resolution (3.2mp vs 2mp) and it even boasts an integrated flash
another improvement is 3G.....not that i will be using much of it lah just good to have it in case i have to go outstation to japan or korea...
in a couple of days
