there was a time when ms ciccone made pure pop music...something essentially heart-felt and not "tainted" (for want of a better word) by the cares of the world...that was the time where she broke out into complete superstardom...CHERISH is a song that is almost belligerently happy, both in terms of music and the lyrics and it still resounds nowadays with sheer joy...inevitably, it still never fails to put me in a good mood everytime i hear it...hope you guys like the rewind
