...i really think so....my gawd!
Iconic tourism company AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand will reinforce its position as a world leader in challenge and adventure with the launch of the high velocity Nevis Arc, a 125m swing accessed from a 70m-long bridge suspended over Doolan’s Creek in the heart of wild and rugged Central Otago.
AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand founder Henry van Asch said, “I guarantee people will be blown away – you’ll accelerate for eight-and-a-half seconds past rock faces, before swinging out over the valley in a massive arc of 40m, 80m, or 125m. It will be extreme and exhilarating all at once.”
The arc rope will be attached to a power-driven winding drum above the swing bridge jump platform, and clients will leap out feet or head first attached to the rope by a full body harness. They will be able to choose from three arc diameters, have a choice of positions and will be able to swing tandem with a friend. When the arc is finished, clients will be retrieved to the jump platform along with the rope, giving them time to enjoy the scenery and reflect on their thrill.
