today is the last day of 2009

..and looking back, it has been a year of ups and downs, of woes and joys for me.

there is only one big regret.
one wrong that that cannot be undone.
one instance of monumental stupidity that has resulted in pain and hurt to the one i love
one night of being a dumb schmuck, to say the least.

i will right that wrong, somehow, somewhen.

and yet, this year has been marked by friendships...of reconnecting with old friends, and making new ones...this has been a highlight for me, i guess.

work-wise, it's been fairly tough, but we have pulled through and can look forward to a better year ahead...i have learnt more through triumphs and failures for sure.

so, i bid 2009 adieu...it's water under the bridge now and i anticipate the coming of 2010 in a matter of 90 minutes (here at least)...and embrace this new year for all it's worth...
