the apartment is quite squarish in nature. this is great as there is little to no dead space and we can pretty much utilise all of it. it's not particularly big, being all of 1098 sqft but the fact that there is only 2 bedrooms, results in the hall being pretty large.

intend to convert the other bedroom into a full walk-in wardrobe. between the benevolent empress and myself, we have quite a fair bit of clothes, to understate it a little...hahaha...

we'll have to rip out all the floor and wall tiles for both bathrooms cos they are ugly and stained (nope, no way to save them) and redo all the tiling.

there's a bit of carpentry work to be done with some customised furniture and we'll also be replacing all the kitchen cabinets as they are kinda yucky (awful brown colour and the laminate surfaces are peeling). and if money permits, will be changing all the interior doors to frosted glass ones.

man, that's a lot of moolah down the drain. hopefully it will be all worth it.
