...is almost here...
i have to admit that i really quite dislike chinese new year...with all the obligatory visiting and heehee-haha-ing with the relatives...oh so boring...with all the little imps running helter skelter all around the house...having to be polite and engaging with relatives that i do not see for most of the year...some more with all that food, it's impossible to avoid gaining weight....and that i really do not need...
the inevitable question would also pop its ugly head of course..."so when are you having a kid hah, ah boy???" ARGH!!
*grumble grumble* how can i possibly escape this? i dun think i can, in view of the fact that i escaped last year...gotta show face this year...
i swear i will do the minimum necessary visiting and all on the 1st day....then i shall relax and vegetate at home for the rest and avoiding everyone!!!

heh...i do that too - everything 'serious' on day 1, then veg out the rest of the days. not a big thing to us...except for the reunion dinner. :)
jo - christmas lah...all that pushing and shoving and the horrific traffic in town...it's all for the wrong reasons!
squirt - ello there! yep, i vegged out indeed...skipped every family makan occasion on 2nd and 3rd day...dun think my folks were too pleased but what the heck...bo chup...
