i saw it and i still can't believe it!!!
the shortest player in the NBA rookies slam dunk contest was NATE ROBINSON...all of 1.79m of him...and yet he soared high over hall-of-famer SPUD WEBB and grandslammed the ball home...simply astonishing...what an eye-opener/jaw-dropper at this year's NBA ALL STAR weekend!!!!!
as described on NBA.com, "The 5-9 Robinson, a point guard for the Knicks...Webb's uniform that came out of hiding, and Spud was the one wearing it...The 5-7 Webb got up from his courtside seat, stood under the basket and bounced the ball in front of him as Robinson made an approach. The former University of Washington guard hurdled Webb, caught the ball at and jammed it into the goal."
doesn't sound like much, right? see the pix below and marvel at his elevation...he had to hurdle a 5 foot 7 fella without splattering said fella's face all over the place and yet keep his concentration to stuff the ball in...mother!
and here's the video of the dunk...please be patient...it's about 25mb and slightly over 2 minutes long...just left click HERE and watch...enjoy ;)
