new tyres - goodyear eagle f1gsd3 albeit made in thailand...cheap and oh my, the difference is marked indeed...
1. less noisy (of course lah, new wor)
2. turns in better
3. more direct steering
4. better cornering grip
5. significantly better ride (due to softer and more compliant sidewall)
6. harder to slide though (stickier rubber arma)
can't believe the day and night between the new and old rubbers...my st115s must have been really crapped out already...it was the longest that i have ever used 1 set of tyres...about 41000 km...used to change after 30000 km all the time...
enjoying like mad :) in fact, took the long and windy road home last night...
