MOU has been signed between singapore's MINDEF and germany's FEDERAL MINISTRY OF DEFENCE for the sale of a total of 96 units (inclusive 30 spares and supporting equipment/training) of LEOPARD 2A4 main battle tanks...this was announced yesterday by singapore's MINDEF and splashed all over the papers today...
but really....is there a need for these? personally i think not...but who knows how the strategists and the leaders of the singaporean government think...
i watch with interest for the reaction of the general public and our neighbours up north...
