for a 4th time, the federer express rumbles its way towards the wimbledon men's crown...he now joins tennis greats bjorn borg and pete sampras as the only men to ever have won 4 in a row! and at a comparatively young age of 24...what a sparkling career he has before him...
some say that he could possibly be the best ever...if he manages to pull off winning the french open some time in the future...it's probably his biggest ambition to win at roland garros to complete his lifetime slam...but that would mean getting past the king of clay rafael nadal on his least favourite (and nadal's favourite) surface...
time will tell, i suppose...he's got a great chance, i personally feel...
Roger Federer was crowned Wimbledon champion for the fourth year in a row after he produced a scintillating performance to defeat Rafael Nadal 6-0, 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (2-7), 6-3 in the final of the men’s singles.
The Swiss top seed’s flawless display of tennis against the Spaniard at times drew gasps of admiration from the Centre Court crowd.
