...felt up to watching SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE...took a while, but i eventually got round to watching this feel-good movie...to see for myself what the hype and all the acclaim was about...to see why it swept to the highest awards possible for a movie (that, of course, being the win at the Oscars for Best Movie...and on the way, garnering Best Director for Danny Boyle and i think 5 other more minor awards)...oh it's a fairytale indeed...a heart-warming, uplifting story of Jamal in his search for Latika...and oh so on-the-way by-the-way winning India's version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (which in truth was just a sideshow to the whole story, weird as it might seem)...
i thoroughly enjoyed the performances by Dev Patel and Frieda Pinto......and my oh my, that gal is hawt hawt hawt!!!!
she well and truly warms my tandoor...
8.5 outta 10 for me then...
