...will be heading there with the missus in july for 5 nights...probably the last holiday for a while because we will be channelling our money in another direction (that's another story for later)...in view of this, we decided to splurge a little.

we will be spending 3 nights in the kuta area staying in a little boutique hotel called 100 SUNSET. from what we see on the net so far, it isn't too shabby at all...but of course one has to discount at least 20 to 30% from the photos that we see online, right?



anyway, the room will only cost us about us$46 net a night, and we will not be spending too much time there as our initially 3 days will be spent mostly running all around doing the touristy things (pix pix pix of uluwatu and tanah lot!). but if it's anything fairly close to what the photos show, it'll be a pretty damned decent deal...

thereafter we will be moving over to the centre of balinese culture (ubud) for 2 nights and staying in a top-notch resort called KOMANEKA BISMA. got a great deal through a friend of a friend who knows the owner...48+% off their usual internet rate! it was voted into Conde Nast's top 100 resorts list for this year, as i understand...



we intend to veg out completely and do the whole spa thingy...and of course more photos (this time of the surrounding hills and rice terraces)...

can't wait!!!
