the sardonic chef

the person in question is Anthony Michael BOURDAIN...or more commonly called tony bourdain...

after watching much of his TV programs (such as NO RESERVATIONS) over the past 2 over years and enjoying it immensely, finally got round to reading his work...bought the omnibus consisting of his 2 earlier works KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL and A COOK'S TOUR at kino yesterday...

i like Bourdain's type of sardonic and self-deprecating wit...dry (almost brit-like), worldly, earthy and side-splittingly funny...

so far, am up to around page 90...plenty more to go but judging from the 1st 90 pages, a classic for me...big grin
