took the day off from work...

...and celebrated mrs kona's birthday by going for a good lunch @ Il Lido on Sentosa followed by shopping...am definitely poorer by a fair bit but then it was worth it...

the food @ Il Lido is quite spectacular..we shared 2 sets which had 2 pastas, foie gras, a crispy duck salad, USDA ribeye steak, molten chocolate pudding and a mango sorbet...was totally stuffed after lunch...

during the shopping, bought a new pair of specs and a new squash racket too...

oh well, all in all, a great day out...
