- crabcakes with peanut chili vinagrette and salad for me - beautiful vinagrette, oh so tasty crabcakes (flavoured within by some paprika *slurp*)
- lobster bisque for her (i kapo-ed some, of course - tasted wonderful except i would have had a bit more brandy within)
- greenlip mussels in garlic and white wine sauce (i would kill for that recipe...it was that delicious)
- barramundi battered fish and chips (tender, moist on the inside, not overly battered which can sometime be a bit much, and crisp as a new dollar note on the outside...divine!)
- pan-seared foie gras with grilled wild prawns for her (prawns were jumping-fresh...foie gras was simply out of this world..)
after that, we shared 2 big scoops of gelato from the gelateria just a few meter down the road...mmmmmm... =)
suffice to say, we were quite stuffed to the gills after dinner...
all for less than 90 bucks...
