- shopping! i have never bought so much stuff for myself from BKK before...6 t-shirts, 2 Raoul formal shirts, 2 belts, 6 CDs, 6 DVDs...my gosh...the shopaholic in mrs kona has sure rubbed off big time on me
- food! ate our way thru BKK...hit all the places that we wanted to go and more...but the outstanding meal was also one of the cheapest...a little hole in the wall mom and pop thai restaurant in the lane just next to asia hotel...cheap and incredibly tasty!will definitely be going back there in the future for sure...
- walking! mrs kona and i walked our feet off...all in all, i'd say we covered at least 6 to 8 klicks a day on the streets of bangkok and in and out of the massive shopping centres...well, at least the foot massages there were cheap...thank god!
- the hotel! the siam@siam design spa and hotel was quite bloody fantastic for the price...lovely, chic and well-furnished rooms with more than adequate space, excellent security-wise and service-wise, almost impeccable...and all for the price of s$130 a night...that's not too shabby and is actually quite a bargain...
man oh man, bangkok...lurve it! anyone wanna place bets against the missus and i going again next year?
here are some pix fit for public consumption...
yours truly washing up a little after a foray into the busy streets of bangkok...
