ooooh yes, the protagonists for the 2007 Champions League finals have fallen into place...pool skewered the ambitious dreams of the whinger mourinho and man u fell prey to the wiles of the marvellous kaka and the san siro cauldron...
in hindsight, it would seem fateful that the incredible final of 2005 would be repeated...but this time, personally feel that pool would be extremely hard-pressed to keep the rossineri at bay...the milanese team is now battle-hardened from their relegation to the 2nd tier league in italy (due to the match-fixing scandal) and they will play their hearts out to prove that their fall from grace was not due in any way to their footballing skills...
stevie g and co. will have to play out of their respective skins to do a repeat, i believe...is it possible? yes of course, but probable? i really dunno, man...
the head tells me milan, but the heart plumbs ever so deep for pool...
