...this day in infamy (to paraphrase the words of FDR in 1941)...
this day 7 years ago, close to 3000 innocent people died and the spectre of terrorism was slammed home to the world...right in our faces...
this spectre has receded somewhat recently, but lurks ever close...ever looking for weaknesses to exploit...to create more chaos...
lest we forget.
