but the thing is, was he ever away? yes 2008 has been a year that he's had 12 losses, some against decidedly second-tier players but this only after he had to wrestle with a bout of mononucleosis, which left him down on energy and the like...and those 2 devastating losses against rafael nadal at roland garros and wimbledon...but to those who had counted him out and said that he was in a sharp decline, egg on your collective faces!
an overwhelming win at flushing meadows over the valiant young brit andy murray should set you right, you naysayers!
