woohoo!!! booked the tix last night and the email's been sent to the respective hotels for confirmation on rooms...it'll be 5 nights in siemreap only...after discussing things over with my darling, we decided to skip phnom penh as there really isn't that much to see there except for the killing fields and that museum which, in all honesty, would probably depress the shit outta us...
so we are doing things easy, kicking back and drinking in the experience of siemreap (and angkor wat of course)...and taking lotsa lotsa pix...
2 nights in a cheaper 4* hotel (casa d'angkor) and 3 nights in the 5* de la paix...departing singapore 8th aug and return 13th aug...
countdown time!!!

The atrocities of the Khmer Rouge are as much a part of the history of Cambodia as is Angkor Wat. Depressing yes but it wld hv given u a gd balance in perspective during the trip.

flight cost me 128 to and fro and plus taxes total around 229...hotels can range from us$30 to 100 for decent ones...of course the DLP is us$165 a night...
Lovely hotel....maybe I should visit Siemrep too..
